Raqamli iqtisodiyot fakulteti 1963-yilda “Iqtisodiy axborotlarni avtomatlashtirilgan usulda qayta ishlashni tashkil etish” mutaxassisligi bo‘yicha talabalar qabul qila boshlagan.
1968-yilda “Iqtisodiy kibernetika” mutaxassisligining ochilishi bilan «Iqtisodiy kibernetika fakulteti tashkil etildi. 2020-yildan boshlab Raqamli iqtisodiyot fakulteti nomi atala boshlandi.
